Quality Assurance through College Accreditation

Ramnarain Ruia College considers quality improvement as a continious process where every stake holder works towards set achievable goals & targets. College, with the objective of contunious quality improvement, has therefore actively participated in the accreditation process. The process has helped college tremendously, in identifying strengths and weaknesses and thus means to shape its future directions for development.

Accreditation History

First Cycle of Accreditation was undertaken in 1999 with four stars (1999 to 2007)

Second Cycle of Accredited was undertaken in 2007 with A grade (2007 to 2012)

for the Third cycle of Accreditation College has applied to NAAC & sent its Application and undertaking to NAAC in Feb 2012. It is now awating visit from NAAC peer team

Education plays a vital role in the development of any nation. Therefore, there is a premium on both quantity (increased access) and quality (relevance and excellence of academic programmes offered) of higher education.

Like in any other domain, the method to improve quality remains the same. Finding and recognising new needs and satisfying them with products and services of international standards.

The NAAC has been set up to help all participating institutions assess their performance vis-a-vis set parameters. A rating agency for academic excellence across India, and the country's first such effort.
